The mission of the American Medical
Writers Association (AMWA) is to promote excellence in
the writing, editing, and production of printed and electronic
biomedical communications to professional, regulatory, and
public audiences. Membership in the AMWA is granted based on a
review of education and experience. I have been a member
of the AMWA since 1990. The AMWA publishes a Freelance
Directory of Medical Communications Services each year.
